Warning Avoid this Drug! Tanezumab Found To Reduce Knee Arthritis Pain in Study But Results in more Knee Replacements
This drug is scary resulting in patients needing knee replacements and the halting of it’s first trial. The company is now trying to spin control the study results by this second study.
Amazingly, just months after a pharmaceutical company halted studies of tanezumab, a drug for moderate-to-severe knee osteoarthritis , the results of second study found only a few minor side effects.
Other, longer-term studies have indicated that tanezumab may accelerate osteoarthritis.
Although the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory inhibitors (NSAIDS) may help osteoarthritis pain, their long-term use can lead to serious problems like bleeding ulcers, kidney damage, early heart attacks and pre-mature death.
NSAIDs include aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, motrin, alive, and COX-2 inhibitors such as Vioxx and Celebrex.
Dr. Paul’s Advice
Avoid dangerous joint -destroying NSAIDS like this one and take natural anti-inflammatories instead.
Natural anti-infllammatories are safe, effective and help support cartilage growth instead of destroying it!
